1. Equipment Overview 

The SNRL series melting granulator is applicable to molten materials with melting point below 300℃, and is professionally designed for sulfur, chemical resin and similar raw materials. Based on the viscosity characteristics of molten materials, the unit adopts tip-type liquid distribution device to evenly spread molten material onto the imported cooling steel belt running at a constant speed.
A continuous spray cooling system is arranged under the steel belt. The material is rapidly cooled, solidified and shaped during transportation, realizing automatic and continuous melt granulation production. 



2. Performance Characteristics 

This is an upgraded new-type melt forming granulator. It adopts thin steel belt heat conduction combined with segmented atomization spray cooling, which enables fast solidification and regular shaping of molten liquid. 
The machine features compact overall structure and integrated rotary shell design, with easy maintenance, fewer wearing parts and low operating cost. It is equipped with synchronous variable frequency speed regulation for distributor and steel belt. It can stably produce Φ4-6mm oblate hemispherical particles with uniformity over 95%. 
The hourly capacity of single unit ranges from 1500 to 6000kg/h, effectively improving production efficiency and economic profit. Fully enclosed operation keeps no dust emission and improves workshop working environment. 
It adapts to a wide material viscosity range, and is suitable for mass production of sulfur, paraffin, resin, chemical additives and other materials. The equipment is economical and durable. Finished products can be made into oblate hemispherical, strip and sheet forms. 
The finished particles have no thermal stress, high purity and good compression resistance. The built-in precision filtering and anti-clogging structure, together with standard rotating and stationary ring sealing components, ensures stable operation and low failure rate.



3. Working Principle 

According to the material melting point, solidification point, feeding temperature of 125~135℃, material viscosity and cooling conditions, the steel belt running speed and granulation head speed can be adjusted steplessly to guarantee stable output and good particle appearance. 
Standard Process Flow: Liquid material → Precision filter treatment → Tip-type distributor dosing → Imported stainless steel belt continuous conveying → Segmented spray water cooling & solidification → Scraper automatic discharging → Solid finished particles



4. Structural Composition 

The complete equipment mainly consists of tip-type granulation head, cooling & conveying imported stainless steel belt and roller assembly, segmented spray cooling system, variable frequency transmission system, thermal insulation system, machine frame, discharge scraper, water scraping brush and other components. 
Granulation head: composed of head sleeve, main shaft, groups of tiny tip holes, rotating ring and stationary ring seals. 
Spray cooling system: composed of multi-layer spray nozzles, water storage tank and water circulation filter. 
Transmission system: composed of explosion-proof reducer, inverter and explosion-proof adjustable speed motor. 
The whole machine is fitted with automatic steel belt deviation correction system to prevent belt deviation during operation.



5. Applicable Materials 

Suitable for various chemical materials with melting or softening point between 50℃ and 300℃, especially ideal for liquid sulfur granulation. It is also applicable to paraffin, petroleum resin, rubber auxiliary, stearic acid and other materials with supercooling crystallization properties. 



6. Technical Requirements 

All materials must be filtered precisely before production. Solid impurities are not allowed to enter the granulation head, so as to avoid nozzle blockage and seal wear, and ensure stable granulation quality. 
The temperature parameter shall be set according to the material melting point. With intelligent multi-point temperature control, the temperature fluctuation is controlled within ±1℃, better than ordinary industry standard. 
The cooling system is equipped with multi-stage filter. Normal cooling water temperature is 5~25℃. Adopting segmented cooling mode, lower water temperature brings faster forming, better particle shape and finished product rate ≥99%. 
The electrical system complies with IIC T5 explosion-proof standard, enabling safe closed production for toxic, flammable and explosive materials. 



7. Summary

This unit realizes continuous granulation from liquid to solid state for materials with melting point of 50℃~300℃. Main advantages: fully enclosed dust-free design, explosion-proof and environment-friendly; energy saving, low consumption, durable spare parts and low comprehensive production cost; convenient product model change. 
It produces standard Φ4-6mm oblate hemispherical particles with regular appearance and no thermal stress. 
The finished particles have good fluidity, easy for packaging, transportation and storage, and convenient for metering, mixing and remelting in later use. It supports 8000 hours of continuous annual operation. 
The machine adopts PLC touch screen control, stepless frequency conversion speed regulation and adjustable flow rate, with simple operation and low labor intensity. 
Widely used in petroleum, fine chemical, coal chemical and other industries. One machine can produce particle, strip and sheet products alternatively. It can realize fully closed explosion-proof production for flammable, explosive and toxic chemical materials.
