Most people in China like to eat rice, and rice also accounts for a large proportion of grain cultivation in our country. With the update of agricultural machinery and equipment, multiple aspects of rice cultivation have been mechanized. Affected by rainy and humid environments, rice dryers will also play an important role in rice harvesting in the future, and new trends will emerge in the rice dryer market.
Drying rice is an important step after grain harvest. Because timely harvesting is necessary to reduce grain loss in the field, and timely harvested grains have a high moisture content. If not dried in time, it will cause the grains to become moldy and spoiled. It can be seen that rice drying is an issue that cannot be ignored.
Based on the current situation of grain drying equipment in China and the demand of the rural market, the development of grain drying equipment in China will present the following trends:
(1) The production capacity of rice dryers should be developed towards large-scale production, and equipment with a processing capacity of 20-30 tons per hour needs to be developed in the future.
(2) Design equipment to reduce high moisture grains to safety standards in one go, requiring a reduction of more than 10%. There are two ways to achieve this: one is to use a combined drying method, which combines drying units from two or more drying methods into a new drying process, such as using a high-temperature rapid fluidized bed dryer to preheat wet grains, and then using a rotary dryer to dry at a lower temperature. From the current development of rice drying technology in various countries around the world, this is a trend. The second is to design a high-efficiency rice flash drying machine.
(3) Applying measurement and control technology to achieve the development of drying processes towards automation or semi automation.
(4) Capable of rapidly processing large quantities of high moisture rice at high temperatures.
(5) The research on using coal as energy source, indirect high-efficiency and energy-saving rice dryers are still the main direction, and new energy rice dryers such as microwave energy and solar energy should also be explored.
(6) Rural rice dryers should be developed towards small and multifunctional directions, requiring easy mobility, simple operation, low investment, and ensuring the quality of rice drying.
